I had the exact same bug happen to me. I am not sure but I think the screen is bugged and shows a Roden when it actually gives you an experimental sniper rifle instead.

I have gone through with every level of Amarr logi using every level of uplinks. Once I switch to a free suit and suicide all of my links have the exact spawn time as what is listed in the equipment stats.
